“Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”
Plato
Rennes-le-Château, high on an isolated mountaintop in the Languedoc region of southern France, and the mystery surrounding it, served as an inspiration for DISCOVERY.
It’s a place of poignant beauty, dreamed up and built by Father François Bérenger Saunière in the late 1800’s and, like any creative endeavor, it was fueled by an abundance of imagination, determination and perseverance.
Writing a novel, a fantastical children’s story, or painting a painting is no different. Your mind has to take flight on wings that soar to a place that has yet to exist, and once you’re there, you have to find the words, or the shapes and colors, to bring it to life. In the end, when it’s the best it can be, a piece of the creator’s heart—in this case, mine — is in it, and it’s offered to the world with love.
